Practice Your Elevator Speech: Questions like “What do you say if someone inquires about your cancer?” or “How do you sum it up in a few phrases for everyone who asks?.” Write out and practice an explanation of what you want to say when someone asks where you’ve been or how you’re doing.   6. Begin Exercising (if able): Exercise is a well-known way to relieve stress and tension. It’s also a way to connect with your new normal body.
